Queen Charlotte Studio
Named after Queen Charlotte, King George III’s wife, after whom the Queen Charlotte Sound takes its name, this sunny studio is luxurious, elegant and airy.

Decorated in regal plum and cream with an ornately carved four poster king size bed, the Queen Charlotte studio has a small kitchen (see below), comfortable leather chairs and dining area. Its’ north facing aspect captures the first of the morning sun and affords views across the grounds to Picton, Victoria Domain and the hills beyond. Opening onto a spacious sunny north-facing balcony with views to our native bush clad hill, it offers an ideal place to unwind and absorb the peaceful ambience before enjoying a meal in one of Picton’s many restaurants.

Breakfast can be taken at your leisure either in the comfort of your own suite or al fresco on the private patio. A generous and varied breakfast hamper is provided for you, in your room, allowing you to take your breakfast in private, at a time to suit just you. Breakfast includes fruit juice, fruit bowl, fresh bread, home-made preserves, seasonal fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, free range eggs, milk and New Zealand honey.
